TERMS AND CONDITIONS of the Stein Family Foundation ASPIRE Award program
The Award
- The Stein Family Foundation (the “Foundation”) reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, amend or cancel the ASPIRE Award program (the “Program”) and/or any of the terms and conditions herein, at any time, without notice.
- Each ASPIRE Award (the “Award”) has a minimum cash value of $1,000 CDN to be paid to a school board, university, college or trade school (the “Post-Secondary Institution”) and applied against the tuition and/or supplies (books, materials, etc.) on the winning student’s (the “Student”) behalf.
Candidate Selection and Awarding
- Only staff members and representatives of high schools, secondary schools or cégeps (the “Schools”) in Canada participating in the Program may submit nominations.
- Only the participating members of the School’s awards and scholarship committee in conjunction with representatives of the Foundation may select a winning candidate (the “Candidate”).
- Each participating School is responsible for its own award selection committee and for publicizing the Award within their institution.
- By submitting a nomination, each nominator authorizes the Foundation, the participating Post-Secondary Institution, and their respective representatives to collect, use, store and confirm information about the Candidate as provided on the nomination submitted (including references) for the purposes of administering and promoting the Award.
- The number and distribution of awards, as well as the amount of each Award, will be confirmed with each School on or before March 1 of the graduation year.
Candidate Eligibility
- The Candidate must be in their final academic year of secondary school in Canada.
- The Candidate must be intending to enroll and be accepted in an eligible program at a Post-Secondary Institution following graduation.
- The Candidate must attain a minimum overall average of 70% or equivalent in their final school year.
